Groups for Children & Young People

Children are an integral part of our Church family. Our desire is to bring the Bible alive for children so that each one can see for themselves who Jesus really is. Come along and join one of our groups for different ages.

We are committed to high standards in the safeguarding and care of children and young people.

Please visit our policies page for more details.

Rainbow Tots

10am-12pm Thursdays
Muller Hall, 39 Seymour Road

Rainbow tots is a great opportunity for parents, grandparents and carers of babies and pre-school children to mix together and form new friendships. Not only do the children have a great time but the parents can enjoy a good chat over tea, coffee and cake with a safe area for young babies to play.

Each session is structured with flexibility and plenty of activities suitable for children of all ages, including

  • Puzzles, shape sorters, building blocks
  • Dolls, cars, farm set, train set
  • Dressing up clothes, play kitchen and food
  • Playdough, paints, craft and much more…..

Snack time refreshments are provided for the children with healthy options such as juice or water, toast or breadsticks and fruit. Song time follows that with everyone sitting together with musical instruments. Action songs and finger rhymes are enjoyed by young and old! We end with the hokey cokey!

A slide, climbing frame, trampoline and lots of big cars and trucks are then brought into the hall for the last 20 mins.

We have cake sales, a second hand clothes rail and a photographer comes once a year.

KBC Youth

We meet on Friday evenings and gather together on Sunday mornings.

The aims of our ministry are:

to expose the young people to the gospel

to equip those who are Christians to live out their faith

to encourage  them to share their faith with others

We have an annual super fun weekend away in the Autumn term and a day trip out in the Summer term.

Students

Students are really welcome at Kensington, from both UWE and Bristol Uni and we value having students as part of our church family. Our mission at Kensington is to magnify Christ and make disciples here in Bristol and beyond, so we want to support you in your walk with Christ, and encourage you as you seek to live for him during your time at university.

There are always great opportunities to get involved with the church while you are studying, be it with the music, helping with children groups, or welcoming people at the door.

If you would like to find out more about Kensington, or need a lift to Easton then please do get in touch.
