Kensington Training - Kensington Baptist Church


Our training programme is designed to equip all believers to live a godly life and to use the gifts God has given us for ministry. That means training is for all of us!

Moore College Distance Learning

Self study theology course. A modular course which provides flexible studying at your own pace and helps encourage you to grow in your biblical knowledge and understanding. There is a cost of £30 per module.


Building on the Rock

Runs two Thursday evenings a month over a year, covering basic Christian doctrine, lifestyle and ministry. It’s for anyone who would like a solid grounding in the truths of the Christian faith and how we can live effective Christian lives.  There is a £10 fee for the year.


Ministry Apprenticeship

Are you interested in spending a year serving within the church and developing your gifts? The ministry apprenticeship programme involves formal and informal training, ministry experience and practical service. We intend to recruit a small team of apprentices to start each September.


Ministry training course

At St Bartholomew’s Church in Bath

Runs every Thursday day-time over a year (30 weeks), this course is operated by the South West Gospel Partnership. The cost is £160 per term. Highly recommended, especially for those who want to be better equipped for minstry.


Women’s Bible Teaching course

Equipping women to teach the Bible in a variety of contexts, including up-front talks, one-to-ones and group Bible studies. Contact Sharon Price or Susanna Taylor.


We also run, by invitation, a regular preaching class and a leadership development programme.
