The Day Centre is a lively club for Senior Citizens. Meeting on Tuesdays it aims to be a loving ‘family’ where friendship, acceptance, understanding, encouragement, fun and laughter, conversation and especially God’s love are shared together.
Kensington Senior Citizen’s Day Centre has served local elderly people since 1974. We meet most Tuesdays throughout the year from 10am to 2.30pm. There are around 25 members, mainly ladies, but a good number of men too. Many live alone and some have a level of disability. Most members live locally to the church but some come from a bit further away. Most are brought by minibus or car, some walk. All the helpers are volunteers who love befriending and helping others.
